Special Announcement!

Heyyyyy quackalackers!

I’m just letting you all know that I am in the process of moving house!

This of course means a couple of things, the first is that I am probably not going to have internet access for the next week or two, and the second is that I am waddling around crazily trying to get everything organised so between doing that and my real life job I haven’t been able to find time for a pic this week.

Never fear!

After I’m settled into my new nest I should be able to find the time to whip something together, otherwise I might just post words like these from my phone, WHO KNOWS!

Stuff happening next:
In the not-too-distant future I am going to post a new GIVEAWAY of a one-of-a-kind Marbles piece that will not be available by any other means, it’s a bit pricey because of its uniqueness so the duration of this giveaway will probably span over a couple of months.

I can’t show you this piece yet because it is only in the planning stages, however the excellent craftsman Cyril from Belen Lazer Designs (tumblr) will be the forerunner, to give yourself an idea of what this prize might entail I strongly suggest you check out his works linked above, clicking the blog will also show his recent commissions which is where my piece will probably go.

To kick start things and to help me with my newly found living expenses anybody that buys anything from my store from April 1st onward will be in the running to win, Marbles only has a following of about 250 people or so, so I’m not expecting to make millions of dollars with this (in fact all I’m hoping to do is break even to cover the costs of the prize, haha), but if you feel like supporting not only Marbles but myself as well, a duckload of appreciation will be sent your way!

The winner of the prize will also have the cost of their purchase (minus postage), refunded once this is all over.

I am expecting a winner to be announced around June but given current circumstances it could be sooner or it could be later, we’ll have to see.

New Layout + Quick Update!

Hey hey!

First and foremost I would like to give a warm welcome to any of you that use Firefox, until today I was having trouble displaying my posts within my website in this browser for reasons unknown (therefore the whole page looked empty and boring), as for everyone else that likely remembers the old layout, what do you think of the new one?

Considering my varying interests I felt it was necessary to stop any one thing from overwhelming another, the side bar has been cut up into each section depending on where you came from and what you’re here for, but if you feel like venturing into other parts of the website then you only need to look slightly to your left.

Another thing you may notice is that I’m now able to show more than 3 posts per page and endless scrolling works again finally.

With all of the above taken into consideration I didn’t leave any time to draw a comic this week, I’ll try to get one out tomorrow but since my creative juices are running a little low, is there anything you’d like Marbles and Checkers to do?
